The only homework that the chicos in the Tenth Age have this week is to study for the quiz (prueba) on Thursday. We began reviewing last week. Today, we talked about how to use clues in the question to help them figure out the answer. They have a study sheet on which they took notes. We also discussed ways to study. Avoiding the "uh-huh" method is really important! (They can explain it to you.) The best ways are to make flash cards with the questions and answers, cover the answer on the study sheet and answer it out loud, download a blank copy from the blog and write the answers in then check, or have a family member or friend quiz you. It is VERY important that the students practice spelling the words that they will use.
Under the Tenth Age resources tab above, There is a copy of the study sheet with highlights to help them remember the clues about which we talked today. There is also a blank copy of the study sheet. The other key is to study a little each night.
