Today's Momentos feature the students in the Eighth Age chicos class and 6-D. The chicos in the Eighth Age created picture sentences using Symtalk picture, my iPad, and the Whiteboard. Each chico made a sentence and another chico read it aloud for the class in Spanish. The Symtalk system of language learning allows the students to learn how to manipulate the language by changing the subject, verb, and object without the need for translation. The students in 6-D began one of my favorite projects of the year. They are creating number books of coin rubbings with coins from Costa Rica, Mexico, and Spain (old pesetas).The students love this project too.
