It is one of my favorite times during the school year, International Week, during which we highlight five languages and cultures. Yesterday, we kicked off the week celebrating the French language and the culture of Haiti. We are grateful to one of our families with Haitian roots for guiding us and bringing a wonderful speaker. The students learned a lot about his experiences growing up in Haiti and how he came to the United States. They asked wonderful questions. Please enjoy the slide show do the day's events.
