Momentos 12.12, 13 & 16.13

The Momentos for Friday and Monday feature students in 6-D, Eighth Age chicas, and 10th Age chicas. The Sixth Age students listened to the story 1, 2, 3, Posadas and learned about the Posadas holiday tradition in Mexico. They learned that Posadas lasts for nine nights starting on December 16th. There is a big party at someone's house with lots of food, fun, ponche de frutas, and piña tags for the children. The students colored a Navidad card that features a a star piñata and poinsettia flowers. The Eighth Age chicas learned about Navidad in Spain. They colored angels for decorations and slippers to leave in the classroom for the three kings on Three Kings Day. The Tenth Age chicas are finishing up the travel brochures that they created to go along with their country reports. Those who have already finished their brochures created poinsettia wreaths for Navidad. Please enjoy the brief slideshow below.
