The students learned and are quickly mastering our class introductory procedures. They have also quickly learned the three songs that I have taught them thus far. Below, 6-E is featured singing Buenas tardes, mis amigos, Hola, mi amigo, and Colores. Please have your child practice singing along.
The students were introduced to and have been practicing the colors of the rainbow. Over the next few weeks, we will continue learning more colors. I will read several books about colors to them in Spanish. We will also incorporate activities for Hispanic Heritage Month, which began on Monday, September 16th. Please stay tuned for the exciting art project.
